We’re the first to admit that we’ve let this blog lapse during the past few years. While Graham Publishing Group (GPG) has always enjoyed using this blog to share our expertise and cutting-edge information about self-publishing, our business has expanded in recent years, and writing blog posts has taken a backseat to our clients’ projects and our other responsibilities.
So why bring back the blog now? There are several reasons:
- You have questions. We have answers. First and foremost, our current clients and those newly exploring self-publishing are a curious bunch! Whether you’re a first time self-published author or an old pro, the process of getting a polished, professional book from manuscript to marketplace continually changes. With advances in technology, changes in requirements from some of the major players in the self-pub space like Amazon’s Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP), and the ever-expanding number of books being published each year, there’s a lot to dissect. At GPG, we pledge to be there with you for every step. This blog is one of many ways we support our authors and anyone considering the idea of self-publishing a book.
- Consistency is key. If you’ve written a book, or had one ghostwritten for you, then you know consistent, regular practice gets the job done.
